Two owls I didn't recognize came right to my table in the Great Hall today. One carried yarn and one carried stitch markers...both for my swap partner! The colors in the yarn aren't exactly as I had envisioned, but it's pretty and soft and I do hope my partner will enjoy it. I adore the stitch markers! They are so pretty, it will be hard to pack them up and send them off with Marty when the time comes.
My grandma's old owl also came with a delivery. Belated birthday greetings (I told you my grandma's owl is old!) and a bit of spending money that I can use if we ever get to go to Hogsmeade (I don't really feel comfortable sneaking off!).
I just love good mail days!
