I received a belated owl from Mum today. Inside were some materials for my Muggle-style memory book and a package of Bertie Botts. I accidentally reached in without looking and ate an earthworm flavored one straight off. Luckily I followed it with a lemon drop to, er, cleanse the palate! I also received some new robes from Madame Malkin's.
Classes are set to begin tomorrow with Potions. Lots of the girls are very excited about the new Potions professor. I was lucky enough to spend some time gazing at him already during the pre-term session of Potions that I took for extra credit.
